The experienced geologist Kristian Eikfjord has accepted a job offer out of town. He is getting ready to move from the city of Geiranger with his family, when he and is colleagues measure small geological changes in the underground. Kristian gets worried and his worst nightmare is about to come true, when the alarm goes off and the disaster is inevitable. With less than 10 minutes to react, it becomes a race against time in order to save as many as possible including his own family.

Roar Uthaug
geboren 1973, machte 2002 seinen Abschluss an der Norwegischen Filmhochschule. Sein Abschlussfilm „Regjeringen Martin“ (2002) gewann einen Studenten-Oscar, der Langfilm „Cold Prey“ (2006) wurde weltweit ein großer Kinoerfolg. Mit den Nachfolgern „Escape“ (2012) und „The Wave“ (2015) etablierte sich Uthaug endgültig als Norwegens Spezialist für Action-Thriller. Derzeit arbeitet er in den USA an einer Neuauflage der „Tomb Raider“-Reihe.
