Liverpool 1961. Young Brian Epstein attends a performance at the Cavern Club and is impressed by the effect the four young musicians have on the audience. Despite having no experience in music management, he offers to become their manager. At the same time, he struggles to secure a record deal for the band. After several setbacks, he finally succeeds in convincing George Martin of Parlophone Records to sign The Beatles – marking the beginning of what would become the greatest career in music history... „Midas Man“ tells the story of Brian Epstein, the legendary manager of The Beatles, often referred to as the “fifth Beatle.” The film explores Epstein’s rise in the music industry, his crucial role in the Beatles’ success, and his personal challenges as a Jewish and homosexual man in the conservative Britain of the 1960s.
