Abraham Bursztein, an 88-year old Jewish tailor, leaves Buenos Aires for Poland, where he will try to find the man who saved him from a certain death after surviving Auschwitz. Escaping from his family who wanted to put him in a nursing home, against all odds, after more than seven decades with no news from him, Abraham will attempt to find his old friend and fulfil his promise of returning one day to tell him all about the life he had thanks to his courage.

Pablo Solarz
PABLO SOLARZ wurde 1969 geboren und studierte an der Escuela de Teatro in Buenos Aires. Anschließend war er als Theaterschauspieler tätig und arbeitete als Dozent für Schauspiel und Regietheater an Theatern in Mexiko und Argentinien. Er studierte Film in Chicago und kehrte Anfang der 90er Jahre nach Argentinien zurück. Pablo Solarz hat u.a. Drehbücher für zwei der erfolgreichsten argentinischen Filme geschrieben: „Un novio para mi mujer“ (2008) und „Me casé con un boludo“ (2016). Seit 1998 leitet er Drehbuchwerkstätten und Writers’ Rooms in Kolumbien, Mexiko und Argentinien. Sein Spielfilmdebüt gab er 2011 mit „Juntos para siempre“.
