Bocksprünge

NDR Newcomer Award

Doris loves Udo. And Udo loves Doris. But he also finds Doris’s friend Maya quite attractive. The two end up in bed together. For her part, Maya is really in love with Silvan and would like to have his child. What a pity that he is having an affair with a young intern by the name of Valerie, whom he has apparently just made pregnant. Maya is not too happy about that and Doris can’t really understand why her best friend Maya is having an affair with her husband Udo. Doris feels hurt and meets young Rudolf when out jogging. Rudolf still hasn’t got over Eva, the love of his life who simply disappeared two years ago. Meanwhile, Udo is at home waiting for Doris, because she is really his one true love. “Leapfrog” (Bocksprünge) is an upbeat and entertaining round dance and an emotional roller-coaster, which ends with everyone finding the right partner. This easygoing comedy is Eckhard Preuss’s debut as a feature film director. Known mainly up till now as a TV actor, he also plays the amorously confused Udo next to Julia Koschitz, Benjamin Sattler and Jule Ronstedt.
