Thus begins a long and strenuous procedure that pushes her to her physical and psychological limits. From the first attempts of fertilization, Ina Borrmann has filmed her experiences, adding a very personal documentary to an on-going, highly controversial debate.

Ina Borrmann wurde 1970 in Freiberg/Sachsen geboren. Nachdem sie zunächst die Betriebsschule des Gesundheits- und Sozialwesens in Karl-Marx-Stadt besucht und als Facharbeiterin für Krankenpflege gearbeitet hat, ging sie 1991 nach München und studierte dort an der Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film. Seit 2008 lebt Ina Borrmann in Berlin, wo sie als freie Regisseurin, Drehbuchautorin und Filmproduzentin tätig ist.
