geboren 1958, studierte an der britischen National Film and Television School und hat sich seitdem als Journalistin und Filmemacherin auf medizinische Fachthemen spezialisiert. Ihr erster Langfilm „The Edge of Dreaming“ lief 2009 als erste schottische Dokumentarfilm-Produktion auf dem IDFA-Festival in Amsterdam und gewann zahlreiche internationale Festivalpreise.
